January Empties

I don’t normally have a lot of empties, usually because I always have a few of each type of product (foundations, primers, lipsticks, etc.) so I usually try to rotate them which takes a while for me to go through a product. A few of these empties are first time purchases that I loved so much that I used it up pretty quickly. The others are repeats that are normally in my collection.

January Empties:
Garnier Refreshing Gel Cream: I am in love with this face cream! I don’t like the feeling of lotion, so the fact that this is more of a ‘gel-cream’ is a huge lifesaver for me. I used to HATE having to put lotion on my face, and now I always look forward to applying my gel cream every day and night. Since I use this on a regular basis, my skin has improved so much since I started using this a few months ago. I’m currently halfway through my second jar of this stuff and I will buy it again when I finish that one.

L’Oreal Magic Lumi Highlighter/Concealer: I have the worst luck with concealers. I have really dark circles under my eyes, and concealers make them look gray (even the peachy color correctors don’t cover them up) so I don’t really bother with concealers. I really like the Lumi line from Loreal, and when I say this was more of a highlighter/brightener, I wanted to try this on. It does a great job at brightening my undereye and I really like this product! The only downside is that I wish there was more product in the tube since I finished this tube very quickly. I did repurchase another tube but I don’t wear it all the time (to save it).

Loreal Age Perfecting Cell Renewing Serum: I bought this on a whim (I bought the trial size at Target which was only $6 as opposed to the full sized $20 bottle) since I was curious about serums. I really like how smooth this makes my skin feel, it feels like I used a primer (it’s not silicone-y but it does smooth my skin/pores) with a tiny hint of highlight. The small bottle actually had a very decent amount in it, but next time I think I’ll buy the full sized bottle.

Maybelline Baby Skin Primer: This was the first primer I ever used and I still have a soft spot for it. This is my third tube and I find myself reaching for it often. I know a lot of people don’t like silicone primers, but my skin likes them 🙂

Maybelline Master Prime: This is another one of my favorite primers. This one has more of a lotion-finish to it, which I normally don’t like, but it works for me in product. I’ve used all three primers in the Master Prime collection, and I’ve liked them all.

Those are some of the products I used up in January, do you use any of them?
