Nyx Haul (1)

This is a little old since I bought these last month, but oh well. I’d never actually tried any Nyx product before, but my sister uses it a lot and I see some of the youtubers I follow use their products a lot too. My Target has a sorry excuse for their Nyx selection so I ended up buying what I wanted online. I was a little bit overwhelmed at first because there was so many stuff I wanted, but I ended up narrowing it down to these items. Other than 2 items, I loved everything I got!

Nyx Haul:

High Definition Finishing Powder – Translucent : ($10) A lightweight translucent finishing powder that helps soften the appearance of fine lines and pores. This silky pressed powder has a fresh matte finish.

Concealer Wand – Porcelain: ($5) This lightweight cover-up obscures imperfections discoloration and under eye circles without ever looking cakey or obvious. Little wonder the Concealer Wand is one of our best-sellers. The concentrated emollient-rich formula goes on like a dream and creates medium to heavy coverage. Use the lavender for sallow skin the green to reduce the appearance of redness and the yellow for under-eye darkness.

Watch the shades shift from green lavender or peach to a sheer natural looking skin tone. GREEN – NEUTRALIZES THE APPEARANCE OF REDNESS. My Thoughts:

My favorites out of my haul are the Translucent Powder and the Color Correcting Creme. I LOVE these! The Translucent Powder is great for giving my face a matte finish and taking away any excess shine I might have. The CC Creme is like magic! I don’t wear foundation or powder on my face, but I do have some redness since I’m so light skinned. This goes on like a light green lotion on your face and when you blend it in, it turns into a beautiful and natural nude color that matches my face perfectly. It evens out my skin tone and gives it a foundation-like finish. Love this! I’ve always had dark eye circles and NOTHING has ever gotten rid of them. I heard this concealer was good so I decided to give it a try. Either I don’t know how to put on concealer right (which is possible, can you wear concealer without foundation???) or this just doesn’t work for my dark circles. Oh well. I do like this for any blemishes I may have. The Butter Lipstick was one of the items I ended up returning. The color just wasn’t for me, it was too… white? But I do have this lipstick in another shade and I like the formula, just not this color. The Brow Pomade was the other item I returned, the Blonde was just too light for me and the pomade didn’t feel as creamy as I thought it would be. The Wonder Pencil is very cool, I can use it to conceal any marks or on my waterline to make my eyes look bigger. But I like to use it to line my lips before applying any lipstick/liner. The Blending Brush was a freebie and it’s a great brush!

I got all of this for like $35 with free shipping, which isn’t bad at all. I loved the packaging too, it came in a very cute black lace bag that I can also use as a makeup bag to throw in my purse. Have you tried any Nyx products? If so, which one is your favorite?
