Last month, the products I was obsessed with were a good mix of high-end and drugstore. Most are new products and one is a product that I’ve had for a few months, but I ended up using a ton in February. A few of these have become favorites in my daily routine. Take a look below at my favorite February products!
In February, This Girl Was Obsessed With…
Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bon Palette: I battled to get my hands on this damn palette! I drooled over it and had a gift card saved for when it would finally be released. Because it was Sephora VIB only exclusive for the first month or so (which I am a VIB) I could only order it online. For some reason, I could only use my gift card in stores. Luckily, a Sephora manager let me buy a normal gift card with my other gift card. I ended up getting this the week of Christmas, but since I also got some other really cool makeup gifts as Christmas presents I didn’t really end up using this that much until this past month. The smell is soooo good! It does smell like chocolates, like the previous chocolate bar palettes (and yes, it totally tastes like chocolate too…). What I love most about this is that the colors are neutral, there’s a good mix of mattes, satin and shimmer eye shadows. I can create a very simple eye-look with this, which is what I use most of the time. But with the fun pops of pink, you can also do a lot of fun eye looks.
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder: I’ve heard so much about this product and since it’s only $3, I decided to give it a try. I’m not a huge fan of the matte face look, but I do have an oily T-zone so I like to use a little bit of this powder on my nose and forehead when I wear foundation. Just a quick swipe of this on a brush really does keep my t-zone from getting shiny.
Tarte Tarteist Lip Paint in Namaste: I wasn’t too crazy about this formula (I actually prefer the Nyx Soft Matte Lip Creams, which are much more affordable) but I did absolutely fall in looooove with this Namaste shade. It’s the perfect neutral nude pink and it looks so good with any look. If anyone has an affordable dupe for Namaste, let me know please. 🙂
Becca Under Eye Brightener Corrector: I love using this to brighten up my dark circles. I’m always disappointed with concealers and under eye brighteners/correctors because they always give my dark circles an ashy look but the pink tone of this product does an amazing job for my dark circles.
L’Oreal Age Perfect Glow Renewal Facial Oil: I am in love with this oil! I use it alone, in the mornings and in the night, under my makeup and even mixed in with my foundation. I have zero complaints about this oil.
L’Oreal Youth Code Texture Perfector Serum: This product is really good, it leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth…but the downside is that it has a strong perfume-y scent to it. I am very sensitive to smells so maybe it won’t be as bad for others, but since the smell does bug me I mostly use this at night after I wash my face.
